I love discovering that ‘special something’– the fiery founder story, the inspiring behind-the-scenes work, the epic community impact – that makes the causes I’m working on unique from everything else. I identify the brand and weave that into messaging for the right audiences, through the right channels, at the right moment.


Fundraising for Public Space

In my role as Marketing & Engagement Coordinator, I helped raise $5m to open Abbott Square, an outdoor community plaza in Santa Cruz, by threading its brand story throughout the web, video, press, events, and even into a set of unique storytelling coaster packs.

“When Santa Cruz’s Museum of Art and History decided to expand last year, they did it by opening outward, launching a market hall and outdoor community space in Abbott Square, the breezy space adjacent to MAH’s downtown digs. Now happy crowds congregate here, drawn by the live music, buzzy vibe and seven eating and dining venues…”

Launching a New Website

I led the brand strategy, content creation, and rollout for a new website for the MAH in December of 2018 in partnership with Cosmic which led to a 50% jump in new leads from the community.

Storytelling Through Annual Fundraiser

In that same year for the MAH, I successfully raised $50,000 by crafting an annual fundraiser “Amplify A Voice” campaign across web, social, e-mail, and direct mail.
